Popup Recommendation Edit Page Overview

Create, edit and personalize popup recommendations.

Popup recommendation campaigns consist essentially of the following components;

  1. Popup Title: The title you choose for your visitors to see.
  2. Recommendation Algorithms, Criteria and Excludes

Recommendation Algorithms

  • Intelligent: You can add Segmentify intelligent campaign algorithms to your recommendation.
  • Category: Enables you to add categorical product to your recommendation.
  • Product: Enables you to add a product to your recommendation with its code or name.
  • Brand: Enables you to add a product with its brand.

Criteria: Applies the criteria filter to the product group.

Excludes: Excludes products of the specified type.

  1. Algorithm Frequency: Specifies the frequency of the algorithm.
  2. Number of products per algorithm: Campaigns can be fed with different number of products from multiple algorithms based on your selection.
  3. Criteria: Applies the criteria filter to the product group.
    • Price Range: Determine from which price range the recommended products will come from.
    • Category: Determine from which categories the recommended products will come from
    • Brand: Determine from which brands the recommended products will come from
    • Label: Determine from which labels the recommended products will come from
    • Gender: Determine from which gender the recommended products will come from
    • Size: Determine from which sizes the recommended products will come from
    • Stock: You can include products from recommended product list based on their stock counts. Ex: include product if its stock count is 5 or more.
    • Custom: You can provide a product according to a desired custom parameter.
  4. Exclude: Excludes products of the specified type.
    • Price Range: You can exclude products from recommended product list based on custom price range.
    • Category: You can exclude products from recommended product list based on category.
    • Product: You can exclude single or multiple products from recommended product list by filtering.
    • Brand: You can exclude products from recommended product list based on brand.
    • Label: You can exclude products from recommended product list based on label.
    • Gender: You can exclude products from recommended product list based on gender.
    • Size: You can exclude products from recommended product list based on size
    • Stock: You can exclude products from recommended product list based on their stock counts. Ex: exclude product if its stock count is 1 or less
    • Custom: You can exclude products from recommended product list based on custom filtering
  5. Position:

  • Vertical Align: Vertically aligns the campaign on top, middle or bottom of the page.
  • Horizontal Align: Horizontally aligns the campaign left, center or right on the page.
  1. Timing & Frequency:

Timing: Indicates the display timing of the popup.

  • Immediate: The campaign runs immediately without waiting.
  • Delay: The campaign will run after the specified number of seconds.
  • Scroll: The campaign will run after the specified scroll ratio on the page is achieved.
  • Visitor Leaving Page: The campaign will run while the visitor is leaving the page.
  • Interaction: The campaign will run when visitor interacts with the page.

Frequency: Indicates the working frequency of the campaign.

  • Always: Campaign runs continuously without any rules.
  • Session: Campaign runs a specified number of times within a user session.
  • Life Time: Campaign runs a specified number of times within its life time.
  • Days: Campaign runs a specified number of times within a day.
  1. Target Audience:

The field where the target audience of the campaign is identified.

  • Visitor Segment: The field where you can select your target segment. Algorithm can run for the specified segment or for users outside that segment based on your preferences.
  • Visitor Type: Determine type of your target visitor. You can select from 3 different types; New, Registered or Also you can select to exclude the type of visitor of your choice.
  1. Overlay: The popup window overlays the background webpage and brings the focus on the popup window.
  2. Campaign Subject: You can write a subject to the campaign which visitors can’t see. It is Only used to point the campaign name, it is mostly similar to the algorithm of the campaign.
  3. Timing: States the campaign’s beginning and ending dates.
  4. Device Types:
    • Desktop: Indicates that the campaign is active only in desktop devices.
    • Mobile Web: Indicates that the campaign is active only in mobile devices.
    • Android: Indicates that the campaign is active only in Android App devices.
    • iOS: Indicates that the campaign is active only in iOS App devices.
  5. Pages To Show: Specifies on which page the widget will run.
  6. Publish Popup Banner:
    • Target Div Selector: Position your widget’s location with css tags on the page.
    • Go Test: Converts the campaigns’ status from live to test. Test status campaigns are not displayed to your visitors. They are only displayed to you when Segmentify Test Mode is active.(You could activate it via this plugin)
    • Go Live: Converts the campaigns’ status from test to live.

Intelligent algorithms

Segmentify recommendation engine is working with Item-based recommendation perspective in real time. It means when a new visitor triggers standard ecommerce event (view a product, add to basket, purchase product(s)), recommendation contents are calculated simultaneously by recommendation engine in real time. Segmentify recommendation engine also provides content, relation and time based working algorithms.
