Our story

Not all heroes wear capes. Some offer a unique and real-time online shopping experience.

The initial idea for Segmentify was born out of Murat Soysal’s PhD study in machine learning. Our two Co-founders, Murat Soysal and Ergin Eroğlu had a simple but elegant vision for Segmentify. That was to employ machine learning and AI technologies to help eCommerce stores optimise their conversion rates. So here we are, 8 years later, with a team of 70+ people doing just that.

We do not accept the traditional “one-size-fits-all” approach to online shopping at Segmentify. Hence, we’ve built advanced algorithms that analyse each visitor’s behaviour and respond accordingly. Our goal is to engage each shopper individually to make sure they feel unique and special and thus, increase eCommerce conversion rates.

Our customers are more than satisfied with our services because Segmentify’s real-time approach to data analysis allows them to respond in the best way possible to the fluctuations they face. These fluctuations are either due to seasonality, campaigns, or changes in consumer taste. Whatever the reason, Segmentify picks up these differences and nuances in consumer preferences and uses this insight in real-time to further build on them.

Top 10 in Seedstars Global Competition

Segmentify is selected to do a pitch at the Seedstars Summit. On stage, Co-founder Murat Soysal explains Segmentify’s mission to help online retailers understand their customers better.

Search Personalisation is launched.

Segmentify re-platforms with modern web technologies and high scalability (Segmentify V3). BigCommerce integration is introduced. Segmentify is an EY Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist.



Search Insights and Smart Segmentation are launched.

The eCommerce Growth Show is launched in four regions: The UK, Adriatic, Brasil, and the USA. Klaviyo integration is introduced.



Personalised Searchandising and Behavioural Targeting are launched.
